Almost forgot to mention the Wednesday morning tea platter.
This week – a chocolate and orange marble cake, double batch, in a baking dish.
I do like to have a cake very fresh, and preferably served still warm, each week. That’s especially the case in the chill of the hills here at Molesworth.
It does mean that it doesn’t cut out quite as cleanly but with coffee and great company, that’s of little consequence.
