Quince Jelly – the taste of autumn

Standing proud in the morning sun – just one of the many jars of quince jelly made yesterday.

Those beautiful quinces of Molesworth provided the basis for developing wonderful colour and flavour.

This, combined with the slow simmering on the wood heater in the first stages of the preparation, made it what it is – an autumnal taste sensation to be enjoyed throughout the year.
