Amongst the loveliest sights of the Derwent Valley has to be the mist and fog. It is simply captivating to watch them creep up into this little corner at Molesworth.
Yesterday was no exception.
On the way home from Hobart late in the morning, a different perspective – this time the spectacle of the fog lifting from the Valley in the distance. It was well worth a photo, which even then doesn’t really do it justice.
We awoke today to no fog, not even a hint of it. That soon changed and before long a light mist had made its way into the surrounding hills and swirled around the house. It’s vanished now, and left us bathed in bright sunshine.
Sure is a beautiful part of the earth, this Derwent Valley.
