On December 10th I will be doing some cooking at Ronald McDonald House in Hobart.
In recent times, through the experience of a beautiful young family, I’ve become aware of just how incredibly invaluable the house is to so many.
The aim of the cooking that day is to prepare meals that can be frozen and later reheated by those who need them, during the stressful time when their loved ones are being cared for in hospital.
As it gets closer to that date, would there be anyone who could donate fresh/excess produce? Pumpkin and carrots come to mind, but anything at all really – the more that is donated, the more we can cook.
