Misty Molesworth Morning cooking

Pretty chilly day here at Molesworth. The fog hasn’t even lifted yet. Temperatures is a somewhat less than tropical 8 degrees.

The wood fire going of course, and it’s being put to good use.

A small batch of quince jelly, cauliflower soup, spiced pumpkin soup and a pot of vegetable peels cooking up for the chickens were prepared on its top.

Its oven quickly baked a batch of savoury muffins. No doubt about it, that oven knows how to bake – the muffins came out light as a feather.

Lunch done. What sort of soup to choose? Both if you have a mind for it, served like this.
